How do I install the extension?
Visit the Chrome Web Store listing and click "Add to Chrome". The extension will be installed and appear in your browser toolbar.
How do I report a bug?
- Navigate to the webpage you want to report
- Click the Bugfeed extension icon in your toolbar
- Select the type of feedback (Bug, Feedback, or Feature Request)
- Add a description of the issue
- Click "Capture Screenshot" to include a visual
- Click "Submit" to send your report
Can I use the extension without an account?
Yes! The extension works without signing in. Your reports will generate shareable links that you can send to anyone. For team features and dashboard access, create a free account.
Where can I find my submitted reports?
Click the extension icon and go to "History" to see your recent reports. Each report has a shareable link you can copy.
The screenshot isn't capturing correctly
Some content may not capture due to browser security restrictions:
- Content inside iframes from different domains
- Some video and canvas elements
- Browser chrome (toolbars, address bar)
Try scrolling the content you want to capture into view before taking the screenshot.
How do I uninstall the extension?
Right-click the Bugfeed icon in your toolbar and select "Remove from Chrome", or go to chrome://extensions and remove it from there.

How do I add the widget to my website?
Add the embed code from your dashboard to your website. See our installation guide for detailed instructions.
The widget isn't appearing
- Check that the script tag is included before
</body> - Verify your site key is correct
- Check your browser console for JavaScript errors
- Ensure your Content Security Policy allows the widget script
Can I customize the widget appearance?
Yes! You can change the position, color, and theme in your dashboard. See our configuration docs for all options.

How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Dashboard Settings and click "Manage Subscription" to upgrade or change your plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Dashboard Settings and click "Manage Subscription". You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your feedback data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export your data before canceling from the dashboard.
