6. Chrome Extension
Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions:
- activeTab: To capture screenshots of the current page when you submit feedback
- storage: To save your preferences and feedback history locally
- identity: To authenticate with your Bugfeed account
The extension only activates when you explicitly click the extension icon or use a keyboard shortcut. It does not run in the background or track your browsing.
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Feedback data: Retained for 90 days after account deletion
- Screenshots: Deleted upon account termination or request
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data
- Export: Download your data in a portable format
