When users submit feedback through your integrated widget, we collect:

  • Screenshots stored securely in Supabase Storage with access controls

  • Service Providers: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email)
  • Your Integrations: Slack, Discord, GitHub, Linear, Trello (only when you configure these)

6. Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab: To capture screenshots of the current page when you submit feedback
  • storage: To save your preferences and feedback history locally
  • identity: To authenticate with your Bugfeed account

The extension only activates when you explicitly click the extension icon or use a keyboard shortcut. It does not run in the background or track your browsing.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Feedback data: Retained for 90 days after account deletion
  • Screenshots: Deleted upon account termination or request
  • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Export: Download your data in a portable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities
